MOSCOW  RECORDINGS
- I need multitrack recording, how many channels do you use?
- In the Mosfilm recording studio we use 80 channel console SSL XL9000K. The studio is
also equiped with ProTools HD3 Accel and PrismSound digital converters.

- I would like to provide a click and pre-recorded tracks, is it a problem?
- Your click track would be appreciated, please don't forget the two free bars before every
piece. Pre-recorded tracks as WAV files would be fine.

- How many headphones do you have? Are there partitive walls in the studio?
- There are 150 one-ear headphones and the partitive walls in the studio. The Orchestra and
the conductor prefer to work with headphones to be strict.

- What is your tuning?
- We mostly use A=442 in Moscow, however it's not a problem to tune down to 440 when
  needed.

- Is it possible to print scores/parts in Moscow?
- Yes, you may send scores/parts either in Sibelius or Finale program, or as PDF files.
The scores/parts should be perfectly readable and correct. Trumpet in B flat is preferable.

- My music style is something like film music, contemporary and world. Does your
orchestra  play such kind of music, what is the normal orchestra size?
- RSSCO performs any kind of music, from symphonies to film music and jazz.
The Orchestra is full symphony by default, however we could bring any musicians list
according to your scores, including chorus and soloists.

- Who is the conductor, may I bring my own one?
- Maestro Sergei Skripka is the Chief conductor of the Orchestra, he has a great recording
experience and follows all composers' marks carefully. He is familiar with the Orchestra,
but of course you may bring your own conductor.

- How many hours is your recording session, may I book two sessions a day?
- We use 4 hours recording sessions with two breaks of 15 minutes each. Sure you may take
two or even three sessions per day. One hour before the recording is free to set up.

- How could I get the estimation for my recording project?
- The estimation depends on the number of recording sessions and musicians you need.
On an average we record about 10-15 minutes of music per session. Please feel free to
email your musicians list and the details & requirements for your project to get the budget.

- What about the copyrights?
- The copyrights fully belongs to you, the recorded music is yours to use free and clear, any
way you wish, with no extra costs.

- I wouldn't like to travel by some reasons. May I send you scores/parts, click &
  pre-recorded tracks and the payment?
- For sure, we would send you the recording next day after the sessions by Federal Express
  post.

- I would like to visit Moscow to be presented to recording sessions.
- Welcome! We could arrange the invitations for your visas and the transportation from/to
the airport. Some direct hotels web addresses are available in our site.

- I didn't find an answer to my question.
- Please don't hesitate to email Marina Dubovskova at  m.dubovskova@rambler.ru
